A variety of in-house machining capabilities help maintain exceptional quality control over all aspects of complicated assemblies. This includes an electrical discharge machine for machining cavities, a wire EDM, a horizontal gear shaper for specialized gears and a hone machine to achieve the correct surface "fit to finish" on bored holes. Our grinding machine capabilities enable us to finish-machine ultra-precision parts. For a complete listing of our plant's capabilities, be sure to check out our facility page.
Our CNC and NC machines are ideally suited for either single or multiple part production. Large weldments and castings are precision-milled and bored on our proven equipment and machined features and holes are verified using our precision inspection equipment. Intricately-shaped parts may be projected on our large optical comparator up to 30x and compared with scaled, computer-generated images of the part. Quality control efforts begin with the initial job router and continue throughout the manufacturing and shipment of parts. This quality and on-time emphasis is also applied to our supplier relationships. Use the quote request page to submit your product specifications.
Since the 1970’s, Blue Ash Tool & Die has established and utilized an apprentice machinist training program. This includes job shop training of high school graduates and company-sponsored college night courses in order for an employee to earn an Ohio Journeyman Tool and Die Maker certificate. New hire inquiries should be submitted through our job opportunities form.
